Kalos coat of arms/emblem

The Kalos coat of arms isn't heraldically speaking a real coat of arms. It is technically an emblem. The emblem portrays the eternal flower, held by the Mythical King's Floette to this day. It is framed by a wreath of laurel leaves, behind that a wreath of oak with a garland of grapes and fruit. The graoes representing the rich wine culture the country has, while the laurel wreath represents victory and the arts, while the oak wreath represents strength. The wreaths are held together by banners of red, white and blue, the national colours of Kalos, with the text: "Les fleur de la bonté" meaning the "The flowers of kindness".  The motto came into use after the Great Kalosian War, which only a small red/pinkish flower survived the destruction around the cannon. The flower came to represent kindness after madness, and later came to represent Kalos as a whole. However, the motto isn't usually portrayed, and is usually replaced by "République Kalosienne" or the Kalosian Republic, the full title of the country. 

The emblem was created just 20 years ago, before which there was no official coat of arms. Unofficially, Kalos used a more traditional coat of arms, also used during the monarchy, however, once the third republic was formed, this modern emblem came to be the official emblem. Another coat of arms, depicting three stylized flowers, is popular for common use, but is unofficial.

I  needed this for some map I want to make later, and I thought I could upload it to Deviantart. Sorry it's not a Fakemon, but I just haven't got the time for designing them, well, I have, I just don't have a satisfying design yet. Okay, so I based this one largely on Socialist heraldry, because they give a very "republican" feel if you just remove the awful tints of red and orange they use. I did change the common wheat wreath to laurels, because it isn't a communist country. I tried to avoid the fasces, a symbol used by fascists but still used in the modern French national emblem.
